The world’s oldest handmade soap, produced in the Nablus region of Palestine
This is a traditional soap with a rough, rustic appearance that I came across whilst travelling in Palestine.
Made from high-quality ingredients, this additive-free, fragrance-free soap uses 100%pure organic Virginia olive oil, making it ideal for those with sensitive or dry skin.
It is also safe for children to use and can be used to wash hair.
It leaves the skin feeling smooth and moisturised, with excellent hydrating properties.

Nablus soap has been produced for over 1,000 years, dating back to the 10th century, and in December 2024, its historical value was recognised and it was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. It is produced by the Tubere family, a family of soap-makers, using traditional kiln-firing methods, and the manufacturing process and recipes, passed down exclusively within the Tubere family for generations, have been preserved to the present day.
