● Sonoko Inoue Profile
Sonoko Inoue began her musical career in 2022 after a word of encouragement from her boss at her part-time job. Based on the folk, rock, blues, country, and bluegrass styles of the 60s and 70s that she grew up listening to through her parents, she is a singer-songwriter who creates a unique world view, transforming everyday moments into "words" from her small, three-tatami-mat room. Carrying her father's guitar, she started performing live mainly along the coast of Kanagawa Prefecture, including Chigasaki, Fujisawa, and Yokohama, gradually expanding her activities to Tokyo and other regions. In September 2024, she released her 1st album "Hokorobi." She has received numerous awards, such as "17th CD Shop Award 2025" and a Special Award at "APPLE VINEGAR - Music Award 2025," and has garnered high praise from many media outlets and music industry professionals. Since then, she has performed live all over the country in response to offers from various regions and has appeared at festivals such as "Yui no Oto 2025," "FUJI & SUN '25," and "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25." Currently, she also hosts "Sonoko Inoue's Greeting" (every Friday from 20:00-20:30) on Chigasaki FM.
