Hashimoto Mio x Kakuta Miho Exhibition "Blue - North "
Sculptor Mio Hashimoto and photographer Miho Kakuta A two-person exhibition will be held.
This exhibition allows you to enjoy the animals and scenery that the couple encountered during their travels around Hokkaido.
We will be exhibiting and selling a wide selection of box works that combine animals carved by Hashimoto, such as owls, sea otters, Hokkaido deer, ermine, and squirrels, with photographs of northern nature taken by Kakuta.
In addition to the collaborative works by the two artists, the venue will also feature Hashimoto's sculpture "May-chan and Kira-chan the Sea Otters" and photographs taken by Kakuta in Alaska and Finland.
We also have a wide selection of merchandise available, so you can make great souvenirs or gifts.
Please come and meet the animals that live in the clear air.
*The sale of the sculpture and photography box works will be by lottery during the exhibition period. Winners will be contacted after the exhibition period ends.

Hashimoto Mio
A portrait sculptor who has set up a studio in a warehouse in northern Mie Prefecture and carves animals in their natural form from wood. In addition to holding exhibitions at art museums around the country where visitors can get up close and personal with his wooden carvings, he also creates portraits of animals, prototypes for figurines and objects, and illustrations of animals.
